   We are a made-from-scratch bakery specializing in wedding cakes, custom cakes, cookies, & pastries. We also offer vegan, gluten free, and allergen friendly options!

The Mockingbird Bakery was founded in 2019, based in the ideals of inclusion and acceptance for all. Our focus is to bring the taste of homemade baked goods together with an artistic flair. We love to make custom cakes with specific designs to match every personality and creative vision!

Gwyneddh Jones

Gwyn is the macaron magic-maker! "I fell sideways into baking about ten years ago and never looked back." The exactness and chemistry of making macarons has always facinated them. Gwyn's also been an instructor in the Tri-C Culinary Program!

Jessica Henderson

Jessica is our award-winning Cake Artist! With over sixteen years of cake decorating experience, she loves a good challenge, and is always excited to see what our customers come up with! "The best part of my job is that there's constantly something new to learn!"

Kassie Turner

Kassie is the Head Baker of the group! She graduated with a bachelor's degree in Japanese Studies, a minor in Asian Studies, and has an associates in Culinary Arts and Business! During her world travels, she learned much about artisian baking, but she still says nothing beats a classic chocolate chip cookie!

Madison Randall

Maddie is our wonderful  bakery manager! She is currently a senior at Kent State studying Psychology with a minor in Criminology and Justice Studies. She plans on attending pastry school after graduating and recommends you try the "incredibly delicious" blueberry muffin cookies!

Hours: Tuesday 11am-5pm & Wednesday-Saturday 9am-5pm
